Two month have elapsed since our last post and we are still under the impression after visiting Canberra district with WineLook guests. Irina kindly lead them through several vineyards where they were introduced to the local art of grape growing and wine making. Visitors showed their interests to trellis construction, vine training and pruning, soil types, irrigation and cost of production.

We also spent much time in negotiation with importers from Russia, having tasted numerous Australian wines. In this picture Irina explains how local wine benefits from the irreversible trend toward screw-caps. Even in the Russian market, that embellishes expensive wine with ritual and reverence, an understanding of screw-caps is slowly spreading among consumers.
