General rules for enthusiasts, are to buy wines from vintage years and from cooler areas, also try to attain non corked, screw bottle tops for a more genuine taste. It is also recommended to have these wines with foods softer food. Oysters, highly vinegary anti-pastas are generally good to avoid with Sauvignon Blanc.
