The Australian Wine and Brandy Corp and the Winemakers Federation of Australia released their Directions to 2025 report, which proposes establishing four marketing segments to highlight aspects of Australian wine in overseas markets. AWBC's Wine Australia marketing program will corral wines into four segments: accessible Brand Champions; innovative drinks for social drinkers entitled Generation Next; Regional Heroes to highlight differences in Australia's wine-growing districts; and Landmark Australia - high-quality wines that compete with the world's best producers.
