Winemaker's Notes. The fruit from 15 year old vines was picked at 14° Baume late in the season for optimal flavour. Traditional hand plunging of the skins, basket pressing and non-filtration have achieved excellent colour and flavour extraction.
Testing notes. Colour. Dark red with brown edges.
Testing notes. Nose Bouqet. Aroma of dark cherries, cinnamon, fruit cake and smoky oak draw you into the ripe red currant and spicy flavours.
Testing notes. Taste Palate. Fine grain tannin viscosity, and a long sweet finish feature in this wine. |
