Winemaker's Notes.
The cool gully breezes in summer and double trellis design allows both access to sun and shade which influences good flavour in our own Barossa Riesling grapes. The gentle pressing of the crushed grapes followed by the cold settling and cool fermentation, help preserve the delicate fruit flavours. Prior to bottling the wine is fined to remove any rough edges, and allow full blossoming of the fruit characters.

A delicious fleshy style, a blend of soft delicate floral characteristics of the Rowland Flat fruit, complements the viscous, lemony, high acid, one third Clare Valley component of the blend. The slightly tart acid finish balances the fruit flavours.
