Winemaker's Notes.

The grapes for this Cabernet Malbec were grown on our own vineyards at Marananga. This sub-region is renowned for growing red wine grapes of exceptional quality.

The major component is Cabernet Sauvignon, which is blended with the earthy characters of Malbec. This wine shows good rich cabernet character, a lovely soft but full palate, finishing with the distinct Malbec dryness. It is aged in American oak for 12 months.

This is our first red with a stelvin closure. This wine is ideal to drink now or over the next 3-4 years, and is suited to game, lamb & aged cheddar.
